Circle of Peace

Famous Thai pose…

I am not sure if it is meant to represent ‘peace’, or if it is just something done out of mimic and habit at this point, but never have I photographed so many peace signs, as when I lived in Thailand. Given a second, it is the automatic response to seeing a camera.

Admittedly, it took me two years to get out of the habit after returning home. Needless to say, I have many photos of myself throwing a peace sign – both in Thailand and when I returned to Canada.

It’s contagious!
